A prayer point for right now
Lord, by the grace in Isaiah 49:25, “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered”, I turn away from pornography. Give me strength for today and faithful people to walk with me.

“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock” (Psalm 40:2). Because this Word is true, I declare that the spirit of heaviness shall have no hold on my life, in Jesus’ name.
-
Merciful Father, as it is written in Psalm 40:2, “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock”, let Your fire fall on the spirit of heaviness and let Your peace rule over my spirit.
-
In the name of Jesus, I stand on Psalm 40:2: “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock”. I refuse to let the spirit of heaviness define my life, and I receive God’s freedom for my spirit.
-
Father, I praise You because Psalm 40:2 is true for me. I give You glory for delivering my spirit from the spirit of heaviness.
-
I agree with heaven today: “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock” (Psalm 40:2). I surrender my spirit to Jesus, and the spirit of heaviness must go.
-
Lord, I stand in the gap for my loved ones. According to Psalm 40:2, “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock”. Set them free from the spirit of heaviness, in Jesus’ name.
-
By the authority of Nahum 1:13, I decree that every chain of the spirit of heaviness is broken, and my spirit is set free.
-
Father, Your Word says, “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder” (Nahum 1:13). Deliver my spirit from the spirit of heaviness, in Jesus’ name.
-
By the authority of Jesus’ name and the promise of Nahum 1:13, I stand against the spirit of heaviness and declare a new season over my spirit.
-
Lord, I lift my hands in thanksgiving. As Nahum 1:13 says, “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder”, I receive my deliverance from the spirit of heaviness.
-
I confess with my mouth what Nahum 1:13 says: “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder”. I am free from the spirit of heaviness.
-
Father, I lift up everyone bound by the spirit of heaviness today. Let Nahum 1:13 be fulfilled in their lives.
