A prayer point for right now
By the authority of Jesus’ name and the promise of Psalm 23:1, I stand against poverty in old age and speak increase over my old age.

In Jesus’ name I resist impulse spending (Luke 16:10). I close every door I opened to it, and I receive the help You have provided.

Proverbs 27:23 says, “Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds”. I will not be mastered by impulse spending; by Your Spirit I take one faithful step at a time.

Lord, by the grace in James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally”, I turn away from impulse spending. Give me strength for today and faithful people to walk with me.
